 What is King's Club?

Designed to teach our youngest disciples about Jesus, King's Club meets on Wednesday evenings at 6 p.m. in Beeson Hall.

We enjoy a family style dinner to start off the evening.  Provided by volunteer cooks, dinner is enjoyed with parents, teachers, and friends.  After dinner, kids go to class, where they are taught the Word of God through various forms of curriculum.

King’s Club has three different classes, serving kids from preschool (age 3) through 5th grade.  Each class presents its own lesson through age-appropriate learning methods including reading, making crafts, acting, and playing games.

The last part of the evening is spent singing, and learning God’s Word through the works of hymns, and contemporary Christian music.  We also use this time to work on drama presentations, such as Christmas and Easter programs.

At 7:30, we gather as a family once more, and close our evening with prayer including kids, teachers, and parents.

King’s Club meets weekly on Wednesdays, and follows the Southwest Licking School academic calendar (ie:  if SWL is scheduled off, King’s Club is scheduled off).
